Food & Drink

Our Restaurant is open each evening, non residents are more than welcome, we serve excellent freshly prepared food using welsh suppliers & products we do get very busy during weekends especially during the summer months. Although we give residents preference over non residents we recommend you to book your table for dinner upon making your reservation to avoid disappointment.

we can open the restaurant during the day if required reservations essential.

 

Our Menu changes daily for residents with choices at each stage, if you have specific dietary requirements or maybe a personal preference please let us know then we can adjust the menu to suit you.

 

Darren our resident chef worked with Michelle for 7 years prior to moving to Minffordd You may not see much of Darren who prides himself on his non fussy style of cooking during your stay as he is usually busy in his kitchen preparing for Dinner. We guarantee you will enjoy all our freshly prepared food he produces, 99% of items which appear on our Menu are made in our very own kitchen using our 50 year old Aga from Starters to Desserts, Soup to Sauces

 

Sunday Lunch

Served most Sunday during the summer months from 12 noon in the restaurant serving home roasted welsh beef, pork & lamb. Children are more than welcome, and reservations are advised

 

Bar Meals

Served daily all year from 9am in the bar area or outside during the summer months at your request, a great alternative option to Dinner in the restaurant if you prefer something lighter. Reservation are not required here and have the advantage of being available all day to residents or non residents

 

Bar

Although the bar area is quite compact in size We have a well stocked bar serving a range of bottled beers and ciders, we also have Tetley's Smooth flow and Carlsberg Export on draught, a full wine list is also available and we stock a good selection Malt whiskey.

Drinks can of course be taken through to either of the lounges if you prefer a sofa to relax on after a hectic day on the mountain or after dinner.

The bar is also open all day to non resident and our bar meals are served in here, and in the restaurant during busy periods
